General Information 

COMPETITIVE SOCCER COMMON QUESTIONS

1. How competitive is it?

There are different levels of play in each age group:

U9-U10
Red - Highest Level
White - Mid-Level
Blue - Lower Level

U11-U12
National - Highest Level (TCSL)
Regional - Highest Level
State - Mid-Level
Cities - Lowest Level

U13+
NPL - Highest Level
Regional - High/Mid Level
State -Mid-Level
Cities - Lowest Level

2. Does my player have to TRY-OUT for a team? 

· No. It is not required that your player try-out for a team unless they want to play on an elevated team. It is however, HIGHLY recommend that you do. 

3. Where are games played? How far will we Travel for games?

· United FC Rush games will be played in a different community such as Plymouth, Maple Grove, Buffalo, Monticello etc. However some games may be played in cities such as Edina and Eden Prairie as well.

4. Are scores and standings kept?

· Yes and No. There are no standings or scores recorded for the U9/U10, however standings and scores are kept for u11+.

5. Who will coach my player?

· United FC Rush Select teams will have a paid coach. Academy and Travel teams will have mix of paid and volunteer coaches.

6.  What Days do the Teams play?

Competitive team games occur on the weeknights during the summer season. Practices are generally held during the week and can be any night of the week.

7. Multi-Sport Athletes?

At United FC Rush we welcome and wholeheartedly respect our multi-sport athletes. With our robust programming we have created more opportunity for multi-sport athletes to participate in soccer during the non core soccer months. We ask that when soccer season is in full swing that soccer becomes the priority.
